LAKE EDGE, PEW ISLAND IN SPRING 9 X 12, GOUACHE See this painting on my WEBSITE ~~~ Can't you just feel the cool breezes off the edge of the lake? What a gorgeous morning this was as I painted the soft play of light through the leaves, and listened to the gentle lapping of waves against the shoreline. Several times throughout the painting process, I just sat and let my eyes soak in the serene beauty, the stillness. As I was enjoying how the brush glided across the paper, Dennis pulled in one bluegill after another. He caught seven blue gill and one crappe. Then, as we were packing up, a nearby fisherman offered Dennis his catch of over 20 bluegill. We brought them all home and they are now cleaned and in our freezer for some delicious home-cooked meals! Have a blessed day! Donna
